Here at CVCR, every fundrive donor is a winner in our books. March 6-22, tune in for two weeks of extra great local programming. Hear special guests, live music, and lots of surprises. With your support we will raise $25K. Go community radio!
DID YOU KNOW? ONLY 2% OF LISTENERS GIVE TO WGDR!
We have over 45K listeners to the station between our broadcast and online listeners. That is a 250% increase, from the estimated 13K that listened when we were owned by Goddard. We’re about to add thousands more broadcast listeners with the new WGDR antenna in May.
This is all great, but did you know, only 2% of all these new and long time listeners actually give to the station?!
With our listener growth, we need to grow our donors next!

Breaking News: FCC Approves WGDR New Antenna Permit
How about some good news? Just before the fundrive started we were notified that the FCC approved the WGDR antenna construction permit. This means we can finally raise the new antenna at the new tower location in May!
Your support, during the fundrive, ensures that we have the funding we need for our programming costs right now. That way, we are ready to rock when this new antenna goes up and we welcome as many as 20K new households into our broadcast listening area in the valleys of Barre and Montpelier.

New voices coming on the air.
Help us welcome eight new voices to the station, as they launch six brand-new local shows in late February and early March.
Ethan - Co-hosting with Curse of the Golden Turnip, Sundays, 7-9am, already in rotation!
Aidan - ALGO - Started February 18, airing Wednesday, 5-7pm on the 1st & 3rd of month.
Walt & Steven - Maiden Voyage, Thursdays, 6am-8am, starting February 26.
Nicole - Rebel Health, Sundays, 10am-Noon, 1st Sunday of month, starting March 1.
Fia - Snail Music, Tuesdays 6-7pm, 1st & 3rd of the month, starting March 3.
Ari & Iris - Talk Show, second Wednesdays, 3-4pm, starting March 11.
Traven & Joseph - Bread & Roses Too - Every other 1st Saturday, 9am-10am, next airing in April.
