Spring FunDrive Special Programming
We’ve got two+ weeks of special, creative, surprising, and delightful programming coming up for you during our Spring Fundrive! This is when our programmers go above and beyond, try new things, bring in special guests and even add extra shows! Some might even have live music from the station! We have a little of everything and we hope you enjoy it. Below is most of what we plan to do. Thanks for tuning in and giving by March 22 to help us hit that $25,000 goal!
Week One: March 6-March 15
Friday, March 6
9am-11am: An extended MAGICAL MYSTERY TOUR with Tonio.
11am-1pm: An extra Thought Pasture with Maura
1pm-4pm: DJ Llu’s Kick Off Day Fundrive Dance Party! LFG!
4-7pm: "Cosmic Sounds: An Exploration of Electronic and Psychedelic Music Across Space and Time". Lots of fun and weird stuff with DJ Levi
Saturday, March 7
9am-10am: Gathering Peace with Joseph Gainza - with special guest, Llu Mulvaney-Stanak, our Director speaking to the station’s success and what’s coming next.
10am-Noon: Sex Fly with Benge, featuring an interview with Brooklyn singer Raina Sokolov-Gonzalez
2pm-4pm: Box Full of Blues with John Foster - TBD guest
4pm-7pm: Acoustic Harmony with Mark Michaelis - - TBD guest
7-10pm: Jagler Katz Worm Hole - Extended Jagler Katz Worm Hole. Live music and more.
Sunday, March 8
7am-10am: Curse of the Golden Turnip with Alan, Steven, and Ethan - With special guests Tom Azarian, and at 9am CVCR Director Llu Mulvaney-Stanak to share breaking news about the station! Every gift, up to $2,750 raised during this show will be matched all drive long!
2-5pm: Extended Swivel Radio with DJ Effery
Monday, March 9

5-7pm: Special DJ set with DJ Stefan
9-11pm - Deep Blues & Blues Edge w/ Les Mawson, showcasing legends of the blues for the fundrive.
Tuesday, March 10
7-8am: Morning Mixtape with DJ Llu - Wake up and jump into a mix of music to get your morning started right!
3-6pm: Extended Listen Up with Bill Nowlan
6-9pm: Extended Still Life with Club Soda & Orange Peel
9-11pm: DJ Frey Special Hip-Hop Show
Wednesday, March 11
9am-11am: Extended Quilting Hour with Sasha & Maura
1-3pm: Special Fundrive show with DJ Eben Flow
3pm-4pm: Ari & Iris’ first show, featuring guest Llu Mulvaney-Stanak, our Director to talk about CVCR’s theory of change.
4pm-7pm: Sounds Of Celluloid: Just in time for Oscar Season, Barry Matthews (Country Sounds in Modern Music, Wednesdays 4-5 PM) brings you two hours of tunes from his favorite scores and soundtracks. Get lost in selections from nearly 100 years of movie magic, and give big to support Central Vermont Community Radio during our Spring FunDrive!
