When "Americana" was the label chosen as a genre for our show, I reckoned it was as good as any because "Americana" itself is open for interperatation. Here is my definition,"Blues based,country flavored, jazz influenced(as in western swing) rockin' folk music." To quote a Mississippi delta musician,"It's all folk music, I ain't never heard no horse playin' it." Best to just listen to the show.
