Loona's Earful could be called the Awkward Segue (segway): in fact, I'm thinking of changing it. Another DJ once said when he listens to my show, he hears a lot of stuff he's never heard before and some things he hasn't heard in a long time. New artists, worldbeat, nostalgia, cheese, pop: I am not a music snob, though I do consider myself a connaisseur. My preferences lean towards funky, freaky, weird and off-beat, but then again, I love melodic, "pretty" music sometimes and the occassional singer-songerwriter... ethnic? Political? Politcally incorrect? Bring it on. Mostly, the sentiment vacillates between pure fun, subtle irony and the struggles of the postmodern heart.  Going on three years of volunteer programming; still, don't expect a polished technician quite YET! (Plenty of sincerity to compensate, though.)
