WGDR is proud to host The Hungry Rat Review

The Hungry Rat Revue is a submission-based performance art project that consists of local, professional artists, self-motivated young adult writers and musicians from Central Vermont. Essentially an experimental band, the HRR performs recitations of all-original poems over all-original musical scores that are best defined as spoken-word indie-Americana soundscapes.

The Hungry Rat Revue’s most frequented venues have included Vermont College of Fine Arts, Langdon Street Café, First Night Montpelier and WGDR, Goddard College Community Radio.

Organized out of Montpelier High School in 2008, the Hungry Rat Revue is currently in residence at WGDR, Goddard College Community Radio in Plainfield, Vermont, and promises to continue to provide Central Vermont area high schools with a profound community-based learning opportunity through a model of college and local community arts collaboration.
