Heartbeat, the Israeli-Palestinian youth music community, bring their powerful sound and messages to the U.S. in an effort to end violence and promote equality. The ensemble of accomplished Arab and Jewish youth artists ages 18-22, has toured across Israel, Palestine, Germany and the U.S., including performances and briefings at the U.S. Congress, State Department, and some of the world’s most celebrated universities and music venues. Heartbeat delivers their dynamic blend of Eastern and Arabic music, Western rock, hip hop, jazz and reggae.

Opening the evening is Goddard student and poet Narelle Thomas!

Throughout the concert, the musicians share personal stories of growing up amidst the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, highlighting their creative effort to build positive social change from the ground up. Heartbeat’s fourth U.S. tour aims to amplify the voices of the silent majority of peace-seeking Palestinians, Israelis, and Americans to advance dignity and freedom for all people. They have toured across Israel, Palestine, Germany and the U.S., including performances and briefings at the U.S. Congress, State Department, and some of the world’s most celebrated universities and music venues.
