Hittin’ the Note

April 11 @ 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm

|Recurring Event (See all)

An event every week that begins at 12:00pm on Wednesday, happening 53 times

My name is Bill Hahn, and  my new music show on WGDR is called “Hittin’ The Note”. Thanks for joining me on this musical journey. I thought I would tell you a little about me & what I want this show to be about.

  • I’m new to Vermont, and just moved into our new house in North Middlesex where I listen to WGDR every day.
I’ve been a music fan and collector for 53 years.
  •  I’m a former rock promoter and talent agent for many well known national artists in the ‘70s and early ’80s (you will be hearing from many of those artists in the show).
  • The goal is to showcase outstanding music of many kinds, ignoring genres or level of commercial success/ popularity.
  •  And, to especially shine a light on the well deserving underappreciated, under heard and under the radar artists from the many genres and decades.
  •  In summary, “Hittin’ The Note” will be a free form music show covering multiple genres including, but not limited to rock, jazz fusion, progressive rock, jazz, reggae, blues, Kraut rock, pre-war blues, electronic, ambient, R&B, bluegrass, ragtime, Cajun, zydeco, New Orleans and various world music styles. Sorry folks, you won’t be hearing any opera or country western!!!

I hope you’ll join me every Wednesday 12Noon-2PM for “Hittin’ The Note”!!!
