"The Meaning of the Fourth of July for the Negro" -- Live On-Air Reading at WGDRCommunity members are invited to WGDR to read Frederick Douglass' historic speech live on the radio during Bon Mot, Sunday July 2nd from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Listeners can hear the program at 91.1 FM, Plainfield or 91.7 FM, Hardwick or streaming at WGDR.org. The broadcast will be available on-demand for two weeks. Doors open at 4 p.m. Turn onto Northwood Drive from Route 214 in Plainfield, VT 05667. Take your first left to WGDR/Eliot Pratt Library. Park in the lot on the right. Continue on foot to the WGDR Studios in the basement of Pratt Library at Goddard College.
