A talk and slide presentation about the emerging fossil fuel resistance around the world that’s being led by a powerful mix of indigenous people, front line communities, and committed scientists.

Free and open to the public. Presented by Goddard College’s Undergraduate Program. There will be books for sale with time for book signing and Q&A. Bill McKibben is the Schumann Distinguished Scholar in Environmental Studies at Middlebury College, founder of 350.org, recipient of the 2014 Right Livelihood Award for outstanding vision and work on behalf of our planet and its people, and the author of many books including The End of Nature, published in 1989, the first book about climate change.
